据了解，捐赠人赵振刚的母亲王一兰是一名医务工作者，曾长期在哈医大二院骨外科工作，退休后患病多年，于2022年7月10日因病逝世。
赵振刚介绍，母亲王一兰生前曾多次表示，做人一定要学会感恩，要知恩图报，她最大的心愿就是为辛勤培育和培养了她的哈尔滨医科大学做点事。
得知母亲的遗愿后，赵振刚经过慎重思考，与家人共同决定，以母亲王一兰的名义向哈医大捐赠200万元人民币，这笔钱将用于哈医大骨外科医学学科的发展。
“200万元不是一笔小数，我坚信哈医大能管好这笔钱，用好这笔钱，让母亲王一兰的心血不会白费。”赵振刚说。

哈医大校长于涛表示，对于赵振刚崇高的奉献精神和社会责任感，对王一兰老教授心系母校的深情厚谊，表示衷心的感谢。“哈医大历来为师生集中奉献精神而自豪，王毅兰老师的奉献精神和仁术仁心，将永远被哈医大学子铭记。哈医大将永远铭记这笔捐赠，管理好这笔捐赠，并用好这笔捐赠，推动哈医大骨外科医学学科再上新台阶，取得更大成就。”于涛表示。
据了解，哈医大骨外科已有百年的传承发展历史，培养了大批骨科人才，为黑龙江乃至全国骨科疾病患者的治疗和健康水平的提高作出了重要贡献。哈医大骨外科作为国家重点学科，培养了一大批国家著名骨科学专家，为黑龙江以及我国的骨科医疗、教学、科研做出巨大贡献。
