In recent years, however, the trend has been to give temporary exhibitions a place of their own, rather than to disperse them through a museum's permanent galleries or to relegate them to a limited number of rooms. The temporary exhibition gallery has often been placed in the entrance area to the museum, since that is the location most likely to be seen
